Hi there! I'm Xiomara (see-oh-mar-ah)
And I am passionate about design.
How do I know I am passionate about design? Because many, many years ago I was told art/graphic design was not "a real job." I wasted a year in college trying to be a psychologist, trying to be a nurse and "aiming quite high" by researching dental colleges. But my heart knew where home was and I've now been immersed in art & design for over two decades. Yes, it's cool that psychologists can heal our mind, nurses can aid you when you are sick and dentists keep our smiles beautiful. But look around this crazy, amazing world and ask yourself:

Current Goals and Achievements:
I am currently working remotely as a full-time UX/UI Designer for the London design studio FutureSight. Utilizing over two decades of educational, design and leadership experience, I care about designing products and services that customers want and that businesses need. I bring hard work, efficiency and a history of success to the table and strive to provide a level of work that exceeds expectations. I enjoy having the opportunity to work closely with a company, team and/or client where creativity, innovation, teamwork, relationships and the user experience process is valued. I also enjoy expanding my business contacts, engaging in design discussions and other creative collaborations.

I hold a BFA in Graphic Design, a M.Ed in Art Education, a Post-Master's Certificate in School Leadership, and a EdD in Leadership & Learning all from the University of Tennessee. I also have a certification in UX/UI Design from Springboard.
